Gracefully broken
by Lily Isong

Gracefully broken

Squeezed and twisted
Bended and shattered is this heart,
This heart that only sees you.
All this is new
I've never been like the few
I feared men aren't true
But I fell into you
Now I'm;

Easter
by Tom Lathara

Dawn darkness of the Judea desert gasped.
Crushing grip of the primal serpent withered.
The prophesied Light of the world emerged,
As the boulder at the sealed tomb, off it rolled.

The blessed disciples, John, Matthew, Mark, and Luke
Wouldn’t miss this cardinal event, each imprinting
Their unique stamp, leaving us a panoramic perspective
as the eternal hope emerged triumphant from the sealed tomb.

Death is dead because Jesus is Alive!
by Pilgrim Roy

In sheer desperation the darkness tried to quench the Light
hiding Him in a borrowed tomb away from this world's sight.
For three days it bound Him and heavens angels held their breath.
But now in glorious triumph, He broke the chains of death.

The cold prison gates of Hell have been burst open wide
and Death has been conquered by Christ the Crucified.
Satan's dark domain was ended by Loves pure sacrifice.
For Jesus has now risen in the power of an endless life.

He who had been dead was dead no more
by Pilgrim Roy

‘He's mine' boasted the grave in victory.
'He is dead so now he belongs to me.'
But Death had forgotten about the One
who is God's One and Only Belovèd Son.

Jesus had arrived upon that sad scene
giving hope where only despair had been.
'I am the Resurrection and Life,’ said He
'and the power of Death is subject to me.'

Death Is But A Sleep
by Carl Rex

A mourning train passed slowly by the Savior's worn out men
The subject being one young man who passed out dead just then
He left this world so young, so soon - his widowed mother too
The air was drenched with wails and shreiks, it was a terrible view

He was a dear and helpful man, the loss was keenly felt
The women wept with sincere tears, their hearts for them did melt
The kids were sad with teary eyes and followed with a sigh
The men were lost in deepest thought, they wondered "oh God why?

Resurrection

From the brink of chaos
a star bursts into song
from the heart that’s broken
grace makes the sufferer strong-

from the fever
