Silently I cry for you..
by Raina Hutchins

I wander through this land
Of broken promises and dreams
Clouded by the death of you
Wondering what life means

Ask Your Scars
by Fathima Shihabudeen

Not all scars are bad
Some define you more than your birthmark
Some help you see a little bit clearer

Then the blood will stop and the wounds will heal
The burns will begin to hurt lesser and lesser
And the pain will stop when your family asks
The scars will fade but they will be remembered
Ask your scars how it feels to see the stars

while wanting is enough for me to live on.
Hold onto that thought and say, "I am here"
while you're dancing in pointed shoes away from your world and mine.
Hold onto that thought and say, "I am here"
