Like a carefully set house of cards
Its known to have many faces
Yet its truest form is known to few

The chatter of the busy voice
A reflection of the moon in the calm river
To behold such a turbulent yet wonderful sight

I feel the beating in my chest
Despite the noise around me
I hear your words in my head

Id say I missed you like the trees miss the wind
Like your breath revitalizing my skin
Their gentle barks skimmed by your breeze
An act of service
A cardinal sin
Left aching empty at the doorstep

I get reminded of the sweet moments spent
Lying in bed watching a movie with you in my arms
Like the world could end right at that moment
I couldn't care any less
I want to hold you forever
I want to kiss away all your stress
I miss the moments we shared

Burnt a slow blue hue
As if they were aching for more fuel
I knew where I had to go
Towards you
A path I never knew I’d choose
But it just felt right
And still continues to do
You gave me the fuel
By the warmth of your hearth

Tere Isharon ka bann gaya, main jaise gulam
Teri ankahee baaton, ka deewana jaise
le kalam apne hi khwabon mein likhun,
tera naam jo baar baar.
Apne aap se main kahoon
ke maan ja haar,
kyunki uske pyaar mein,
main na karoon
apna bhi koi kaam
Tere Isharon ka bann gaya main jaise gulam.

I become one with a part of me that was long lost
