Why do we allow so many others
To control our precious lives...
Why do we let manipulative parents
Slice us apart with unforgiving knives...

We are both grown damn adults
Who just happened to fall in love...
We allowed our beautiful friendship
To become a precious gift from Above...

The Backseat
by Chrissy Davis

The ground is unstable beneath my feet.
When I look in your eyes my knees go weak.
Butterflies are dancing inside of me.
You’ve given my heart a new reason to beat.
I wish you could catch me, I’m falling so deep.
But your heart’s with another is the reality.
I want you to myself and my life’d feel complete.
You’re the man in my dreams I see when I sleep.
So I can’t let you go, I try to compete.
But it’s hard to make love from the back seat.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown
by Petar Cacanoski

Heavy is the head that wears the crown,
The royal blue keeps wrapping round my heart.
Pushing me down, I’m about to drown.

An ethereal place for your eternal beauty,
Where nobody’s going to mind,
A place where we won’t be on duty.

Forbidden Love
by Chrissy Davis

My sweet friend lost her radiant glow.
Her smile once contagious is now for show.

She is dying inside. She can’t let him go.
His heart was taken so it was safe to say,
She wouldn’t catch feelings because he couldn’t stay.
Friends with benefits they both loved to play.
But her nightmare began when he stole her heart away.
Being his mistress was her choice to make.
She never imagined the heartache.

A forbidden love
by Saleh Ben Saleh

Adam was in his late 50s and Jean was younger than him by 27

They both had a lot in common, they saw life as if they were in heaven

They spent most of their time together talking, he felt happy in her presence and she felt safe by his side

Jean had strong feelings for Adam, her affection is something that she did not want to hide

But Adams affection for Jean was not at all of that kind
