Two Black Buttons
My eyes are used to the dark mood
For I have sewed two black buttons into my eye SOCKETS
And you are gonna touch me
In this Bleak House
All over the blackness...

A POEM BY ROSA JAMALI
......
Your body was puzzling, like a half-made figure
Till the final shaping of your voice came
And riotous secrets of lines curved out
And trembled upon your limbs.
Then silence touched your body to motion:
Your limbs released fleeing andantes of pain
And your heart flung little crescents of budding caresses
Into the waiting hunger of your eyes.
You uterus
you have been patient
as a sock
while i have slippered into you
my dead and living children
now
they want to cut you out
stocking i will not need
where i am going
where am i going

'And with what body do they come?' -
Then they do come - Rejoice!
What Door - What Hour - Run - run - My Soul!
Illuminate the House!
'Body!' Then real - a Face and Eyes -
To know that it is them!
Paul knew the Man that knew the News -
He passed through Bethlehem -
My body which my dungeon is,
And yet my parks and palaces: -
Which is so great that there I go
All the day long to and fro,
And when the night begins to fall
Throw down my bed and sleep, while all
The buildings hum with wakefulness -
Even as a child of savages
When evening takes her on her way,
(She having roamed a summer's day

There is a coldness at my core
Just a feeling, nothing more
When I sink into my spine
Like a draft through open door
Even so, I’m doing fine
The coldness is just one small line
In my body full of other
Full of hustle, love, and brine

We’ve got erythrocytes,
erythrocytes,
erythrocytes in the body
Another name for erythrocytes,
erythrocytes,
erythrocytes in the body
is red blood cells.
We’ve got erythrocytes in the body
and they carry oxygen in the red blood cells.

Words are real action
The reality is also sometimes stunned by words
Words that Absurd sometimes also have an affair with reality
Reality that plays with phenomena is sometimes not as idealistic as we think
The spirit in the equivalent word chosen as diction may be right next to the norm or ethics
The body in the heart of a word is always meaningful
The spirit that realistic in words is easily co-opted by symbols in the real world
Body of You, me and all of you resides in a name in a word that has special
meaning
......
i forgive my body
for all that she’s done
i free him from his sins
and nestle in her safety
i thank my body for protecting me

They make us hate our bodies so much
that we forget we own it.
we spend our youth hunting for anyone
else to handle the now excessive load.
we let them use it until the fragments of
what was once ours shatters into
something unrecognizable.
why does society push us so quickly into forfeiting our own autonomy?
the first thing we are ready to give up is the one thing we truly own.
