His help
by Jacoline Boer

When she came too close for me to handle,
when I wished she would leave,
when I wished there was something else I could think of but she filled my brain with her eve,
when she consumed my thoughts and told me she loved me,
when I was alone and broken of heart,

Drums pounding in my throbbing head...

by Jeffrey Pipes Guice

Driving down the deserted highway...
Feeling depressed and very lonely...

Believing that I’m the one and only...

The holiday season can be hard...
For some, it’s the bluest time of the year...
To be away from your loved ones...
I wish someone would lend an ear...

A whiskey sour
by Noah Trist

“A whiskey sour please”
Said the drunken dope as someone takes his keys
He then proceeds to fall back on his chair
Spilling his 10 dollar drink

His mishaven face
And poor posture
A typical patient for this kinda place

His turn of a neck
