A Little List of Greetings
by James V Daniels

Merry Christmas one and all, a time for joy and cheer. So I made this little list of greetings, would you like to hear?

Merry Christmas Saudi, for you we bring new weapons. We hope you will enjoy them when you fire them on Yemen.

Merry Christmas EU, for you we bring an agreement (by the end of March). And if none, we'll extend the transition period, though we have no right to ask.

Merry Christmas Schools, for you we bring more funding. Though not quite as much as potholes, which, we thought you would find touching.

Merry Christmas MI5 for you we bring much data. But if nothing to hide you have nothing to fear, so tell THAT to all the haters.

Government Poem
by James V Daniels

But like, we don't even need a government, is all I'm saying.
If all a government does is deregulate the companies and take way our freedoms- then our priorities need straitening.

And sure, they put police on our streets and pay for our schools. But those police have two jobs and the schools have no cash, and my friends are on zero hours contracts, they can't wait for their money back.
So there's a little something for you all... To think about.

But that's not the problem, more like an overture.
You see, the problem is that folks like you and me rarely turn out to be:
Fruit pickers; warehouse workers; shop fitters; joiners; carpenters; scaffolders; solicitors- wait!
That last one- maybe.

by Dr. Robert Ippaso

About time,

This moment I thought would never come,
Is in my grasp, the deed now done.

Don't get me wrong, I loved my Mum,
But all that passed would surely stun
Even a saint or the Lord above,
So tiring being an aimless dove.

Angel
by Josie Notebook

She is a ballerina,
But also a freak
Oh boy, she is unique.
She likes darkness
But where ever she goes,
She brings light
I can assure you,
There is no one as disciplined and as bright!
Her vision of fun is different than the average.
She is one of those people that come with minimal emotional baggage
