In a smoky room, where the shadows play,
You’re searching for direction, lost along the way.
The devil grins, whispering sweet lies,
Promising glory wrapped in disguise.
Who's gonna save your soul tonight?
The preacher with his holy light?
The politician with his silver tongue?
Or the celebrity, forever young?
Is it the singer with a heart full of pain?
......

but a question waiting in the dark?
What if you had taken the other road,
the one that bent sharply left,

Do You Know
by gabriella BlakeDo you know I haven’t laughed like that since you. Do you know I haven’t smiled like that since you. Do you know I haven’t felt safe since you. Do you know no one knows me anymore. Do you know how alone I feel, how scared I feel. I’m scared to let anyone in. I’m scared of being left behind once again. I’m scared of being all alone, and that keeps me more isolated that anything.
