The making of cards, as a child,
by the mind so wild...,
And wishing her on the day she deserves,
well, aren't enough things for a mother's reserve.

The mother's face that we wanted to see,
when the predicament situation came,
"mother required", to set us free...,

Women are created in the image of God just as men are
Females are seen by Jesus as genuine persons
Not simply as the objects of male desire
Every family has disagreements, conflicts
Some men treat her with bitterness and uncontrolled anger,
They quarrel with her, abuse her,
Some Men are so rude, violent, controlling, and hatred
They do not reflect the love of Christ to her
For the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God
......
Mother's Day

It was seven years ago when you celebrated your final Mother's Day.
We had to bury you ten months later when you passed away.
Before you became ill, your death wasn't something that our family anticipated.
We made the doctors do everything they could, including having your leg amputated.
You became a mom in 1967 when you gave birth to my only brother.
You were a unique person and one of the world's greatest mothers.
[Dedicated to Agnes Greene-Johnson (1948-2013) who passed away on March 6, 2013.]
