As the morn shirts the mists and the clouds from the skies-
So I stand in the dawn of her beautiful eyes.

And her beautiful eyes are as midday to me,
When the lily-bell bends with the weight of the bee,
And the throat of the thrush is a-pulse in the heat,

Blues and Greens
by C Duggan

The sun falls,
And night begins,
Blue irises enthrall,
The eyes of my kin.
I never shared that ocean,
I was always miles behind,
always reachin',
never could unwind.
My eyes of grass,

On this Threshold

ON THIS THRESHOLD

Now I hold a key to Solomon’s Seal
It fits the Star of David too
Rock climbed the Walls of Wisdom

Your eyes
by May Golda

Your eyes where like warmth.
Your eyes where like home.

Your eyes became pain.
Your eyes became torment.

Your eyes are like scares.
Yours eyes still remain.

Your I eyes, I do wish I could prick from my brain!
