My peanut butter eyes on caramel silk skin.
Butterflies flutter—folding in and famished—
beating and bowing before my bile-slick stomach. 
Flirting with my heart—an empty love, lost and lame. 
 
Pupils glued to my toes,
a sight caught in the corner of my vision—
bleeding blurry. 
Fain to find myself blighted thin.
Shadows march through my veins—
