Daydream Drumbeat
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

I was a bed and mattress tester, a dream job like that of a yellow moon.
I tested the comfort of beds, pillows, etc., for night is ever coming soon.

I studied sleep patterns too, like vivid rainbow's colored, striped design.
I also appraised sleep products, as botanists do royal rose's genetic line.

I rated beds for luxury hotels, and mattresses for their medical benefits;

Daytime Torment
by Victor Ambiguo

Such loudness is the king of day
Above the sky. Oh, what a noise!
No whiskey can subdue his pain

Glisten
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Sunlit
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

in the mellow morn
a revelry of roses
pervasive heat, grapes

glossy trees tremble

butterfly frenzy

the day star twinkles
entering doors and windows

Pink and Red
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Pinks and reds are so rosy, all over a sunny garden scene,
And in the eastern corner, are beaming plums and greens!

As cream clouds march on skies, until they turn navy blue.

Red is the chanting songbird, treasure of tangy pine trees,
Pink are the big dragonflies, ere day is driven to its knees,
Red is the rich ruby, that glitters at coming onyx darkness,
And the sangria, starlit night, of utter peace and calmness!
