When You Wed Another
by Nad SZA

I mentioned this before, you would never love me more than I love you
You would never try to learn about me like I'm something you really want, like how I do
You won't read and gaze into my eyes, just like how I do in your deep brown eyes
But, one day, you will marry another, and would look into her eyes
You would read her every emotion just from her eyes
You would remember what are her favorite food and drinks
You would do anything for her, just like how I would for you
But, this is something that I would never get from you

The day you marry another, you would invite me to your wedding

A Sinner's Heart
by Bhaskaranand Jha Bhaskar

My soul badly suffers intense pain
Heavy with fleshy chains
Burning dead in the fires of hell
For the mortal sin
Committed once in the Garden
Of joy in the twilight of life,
Under the bower of intimacy
Fostered for no reason
Between love and sympathy.
The soiled body fallen from grace

Never a day passes
by erato mymuse

Never a day passes that I don’t think of you
For that arrow from Cupid has shot my heart through.
Out of respect for you my love will remain unspoken
But here in cyberspace my silence can be broken

Here only can the door of love be opened wide
Here only the secrets of my heart can I confide.
Not knowing if you will read the poetry from me
that floods my heart whenever your beauty I see.

Self-deceived
by Somali Mukherjee

My heart's torn apart
Not by any, but by me,
The worst deceiver.

glassy eyes and salty rain

That thundering afternoon,
I reached for you,
Glassy eyes and salty rain.

Time was running out,
But still you pushed away,
Why couldn’t you understand?

Your eyes brush over me,
My trembling, heaving breathes mixed in the roar of the wind,

Hookem-snivey
by Tom Cameron

You've gone and fooled yourself ol' boy
And now the game is out of your hands
You've gone and poured your heart and guts
Out on the pavement

Now the damage it is done
The last song has been sung
So think thoughts filled with fun
With paper, pen and gun
