To be happy again sans the shame.
Amidst the sunken, sullen silence of our place in the stars –
I can only dream and hope for a world where you are not far.
Push and pull – we ebb and we flow, we laugh and we lose, we love and we hate.

Our arms entwined
Our shadows merged around our feet
Casting an unused shelter.
We look to the horizon,
Through hedgerows,
Beyond the church
Its spire hosting a choir of blackbirds

waiting for mistletoe to be hung again

My peripheral friend

With preposterous spurring ideas,
Fueled and oiled my life’s frond,
Civilized cerebrum with rustic heart,
Promised to be a Perdue cart,
On my holy grail trails of
Life’s Sam Hill moments to calamitous hurts.
Peripheral friend with no perineal thoughts,
Scurrying like a cloud knocked my walls,
To bucket me with me to be me moments.
