A Sonnet of The Eternal Beloved
by Ayatullah Nurjati

O Eternal, beyond the grasp of flesh and time
In silent nights, where stars softly weep
My soul wanders, yearning to taste the divine in time
I search for You in depths still and deep

What am I but dust, mere clay and bone
O Beloved, pure as the morning’s breath
While You are the Unseen, seated on Your throne
Draw me near, release me from death

I asked the ash tree...
by Slava P, aka Maximus Decimus Meridius

I asked the ash tree where my beloved is,
The ash tree did not answer me, shaking his head.
I asked the poplar: "Where is my beloved?" -
The poplar showered me with autumn leaves.

I asked autumn: "Where is my beloved?" -
Autumn answered me with pouring rain.
I asked the rain where my beloved is,
For a long time the rain poured tears under my window.

the things we touch that change the sky
by Rikske Kessner

We make a room by entering it.
Breath before voice, heat before word.
The space notices. It tightens, sighs, leans in.

Curtains adjust their drape. Shadows lose shape.
You brush your shoulder on the doorframe-
now it remembers skin.

The mirror shows us what it couldn’t before:
not reflection, but relation. Your glance spills over

Sonnet 62: If Those Days Don't Return 'gain My Beloved
by Pijush Biswas

If those days don't return 'gain my beloved
May be I will be drown in empty wine
But will you make me to drowsiness shoved?
The days, in which we loved each - other must
Be remembered when flowers come in bine
And until we broke, what we did will burst
Into some remembrances; I must trick,
To such a goal, that, you must come back here
And the wall 'tween us will break brick to brick
For some intentions, I will pursue, yes
