My Lady

Blue Ridge Mountains are covered with green foliage
Clouds rest on top of the mountains
Mountain trails writhe like life's road
Valley waters fall into rivers like passing days Flowers blossom and birds sing
Everywhere beauty is alive
But my lady wants to leave, oh my lady When the sun has not set, let us love awhile
Love and anger linked like chains
As far as the Blue Ridge Mountains Our faces age showing wrinkles
Now, only a few mountain trails to travel
Always in our hearts
Love stayed constant like the blossoming mountains
