Civil No More
by Darris van-Hoxen

veer for his words
well I don't know what you heard
sit still with this herd
slip you a slicker
oil drum's gone aflicker
can't so soon be stopped
Pandora's demon right out the box
up in your ear
projecting all your fear
onto me, onto he, onto xhe

Dear Earth
by Nkwachukwu Ogbuagu

Dear Earth,
I vouch for your honesty any day
and rebuke strongly this cluster of vices upon you —
bone and teeth, claws and talons, fins and scales
and other forms of skeletal dryness.

Earth my kinsman,
remain steadfast and bury with quicksand these vices —
fingernails and beaks, hoofs and blades
and other instruments of hardness.

Liberty or Death
by Md. Naeem Aziz

They took our country from us,
They took our lands from us.
Yet could not chain our voice,
Nor silence freedom's poise.

They burnt our homes to dust,
They crushed our dreams unjust.
But still we rise with flame,
With liberty in name.

#EyesOnIran
by Roxana Darvish

Remember the pain,
Remember the sorrow.
All the false promises
Of a brighter tomorrow

Grief of losing your loved ones,
And all the smiles you've ever faked
Laughter you've shared with people,
While your heart deeply ached.

Who's Fault Is This ?
by Abhinandan Sharma

Carrying kids on their shoulders
No slippers in their feets
Bright sun - high heat
They started moving towards their homes

No one noticed their wounds
No one noticed bumps under their feets
They were hungry
They didn't sleep

A Small Town
by Prasenjit Roy

I wander through each busy lane,
The relentless Manu where runs through...
I witness in every face I meet,
Signs of agony, signs of rue.
In the voice of every person,
In the whisper of every toddler...
In every moment, in every cry,
The murmur of agony what I hear.
I crave for feeling of oneness,
But the inhabitants turn deaf ear...

The Silence.
by Laurence Argyll Simon Noond

The silence must be heard,
We are not cattle in a herd.
Inch by inch, day by day,
Our rights are taken away.

Socialise or perish in time
by Christyanne Smith

Reflected glare of tired eyes Hypnotised in your own demise Addiction spreads across the veins Desperation from what it gains

Bubble, bubble anti-social trouble Consumed by the mind Isolated in time

Frozen in a succession of mindless drones Glued to the screens of their phones Waiting for the spell to break To be released from this zombie like state

Be the leader not the sheep Don’t give in, don’t retreat Your mind is yours to command Not the technologies in your hand
