Dancing With Daisies
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

whirling in daisies
multicolored blooms in hair
summertime affair

Caressing petals
Light steps frolic in beauty
as breezes chase blooms.
Raspberry days so fruity
Clouds stand still for yellow sheen.

A Bitter Song to His Lady
by Dante Gabriel Rossetti

O LADY amorous,
Merciless lady,
Full blithely play'd ye
These your beguilings.
So with an urchin
A man makes merry, —
In mirth grows clamorous,
Laughs and rejoices, —
But when his choice is
To fall aweary,

My Lady
by Subbie Vacc

He chose you from the beginning of this world.
And when the time had come, he sent his messenger to ask not for your hand, but for your heart.

My Lady, you went beyond yourself and said: "I am the handmaid of the lord."
How good it is that you lay down your life for Him knowing that he'd have to lay His down for the whole world.

My Lady, no one showed you kindness, but you were able to have him in a manger.
He feed at your breasts and you watched him grow. God and the Immaculate Conception

My Lady, you thought that you lost him, but he was not. He said: "I was out doing my father's Business. My Lady how good it is that you ponder His response in your heart.

The Lady in Green
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

I was a zealous fashion designer, whose elegant styles were ever in vogue,
Like the rainbow time of cool, damp evening, that elegant colors go rogue.

I was happy and socially sought after, like surfers seek swift, green waves,

shadow of a smile
a selfie in plum shadows
mysterious girl

dusky deep fragrance
living on the edge of June
thrills under the moon

nebulous image
a perfect moment captured

Lady Night
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

I was an ardent, competent astronomer, ever peering in midnight blue dark,
Like mysterious destiny, ever awaiting, meeting time in some emerald park.

Labor kept me up long of a purple night, like yellow, fiery stars come lately;
And I loved the thrill of discovery, as premier dawn rays, emerging vaguely.

Nameless friends kept me busy golden days, so lusty life was well balanced,
Like ivy, wrapping green arms around a tree, or rose displaying spicy talents.

On heady days of lively celebration, cherished family turned up at the door,
