On my way in
Ignoring cosmic law
Misaligned planets
Into a crooked line
Emboldened plucked shining meteorites from over my head
Examining them closely before tossing them like sand
Tones of god yellow, twilight green, space blue, and sunspot red
Cavorted with comets aflame across infinite star-sprinkled skies

The soldiers come marching forth
In stiff rows they file clad in Khaki green
Steady and straight forward on their course
Like rows of wheat, they will fall fast
Onto the patiently waiting ground
Fleeting thoughts feed dying minds
Cries from bloodied mouths
They utter their last sounds
