Blade of Light

Thou werest an alluring blade of light
Bestowing me the wound of cognizance
Thee I highly adored and kept in sight
Hung aloft as a sign of reverence
Thou art the shadow of my intellect
Possessed by genuinely profound dreads
Thy heart mirrorest those I interdict
Yet I'm sworn to unbanish every threat
I trace thy presence far and wide, Hither_ thither
I seek, I ache, yet perfectly tail
