There's and owl at my window
Wanting to become one with the rain
The blackness
The heavy strokes of light
The calamitous sound of drums
Like a sacrificial ceremony
He waits for the perfect time
To fly and stretch his wings again
To fly into the night where he feels alive
He hovers and waits for the gates to open
