I Want The Impossible To Happen

The thing that I want,
The way that I want,
Both are impossible.
But how can I stop wanting?
The urge to have, makes me mad!
The soul craves the impossible.
The world is ending,
People have become mad,
The cities are destroyed,
......
and I believed them

A great modern poet but I don't think this saying is worthy. This I will say: Poetry is the business of the poet primarily but its voice rings universally like a grand symphony. Some paltry poetry I write and it sets me free. No one is cultured who ignores the beauty of poetry
