My Moon

As a child you learn that the moon is pretty important,
It controls the tides,
The night,
And all the sciency shit I can no longer remember.
The moon is needed by the earth like I need you,
You give me light in the darkness,
You guide me through the waters of life,
You keep me grounded and safe.
