Madame Ranevskaya’s Reverie
by Rikske Kessner

Madame Ranevskaya’s Reverie
poem 2 of a Chekhovian suite

I dance beneath boughs heavy with spring,
wine-warm laughter on my tongue.
The air tastes of childhood and lost letters—
murmurs of father, of home.

Yet every footstep echoes farewell;

Fine
by Author Reinvented

Hey,
If you ask me how I'm doing,
I'll say fine,
Dont have a lot right now that I can call mine,
But I'm doing it,
I'm making it somehow,
And that's enough for me right now.

Hey, I'm standing at the bottom of a mountain,
So I climb,

Autopilot
by Falling Awake

It seems I don't know quite how to respond,
To the pain present, within and beyond,
So, my subconscious defaults to the lead,
With habitual patterns, I proceed…
Reliant on instincts and emotions,
These primal pathways take me through motions,
Now I’m acting rash, values misaligned,
Hurting loved ones in this stressed frame of mind,
All because I’m unable to pacify,
My cortex, drenched in stimuli.

An Ode Maintained
by Darris van-Hoxen

Forty-seven firms, forty-seven chains
Life's meandering march above supreme
Sing, O Bondage, sing, for Ramen invest
Golden rags deferred, anthem of regime.

Praise be to wield, ye quarterly delights,
stamping through the ticker-reel of dreams
metric hymn of man who sells the air, your sun
stop destroying those knees, more lectures forevermore

Just Breathe
by Brandon Gumz

Breathe in: 1, 2, 3, 4
Hold Breath: 1, 2, 3, 4
Breathe out: 1, 2, 3, 4
Hold: 1, 2, 3, 4, then repeat
It is easy to breathe, but
Is it easy to just take a breath?

Scribbles of the Soul
by Aditi Hayaran

When stuck in the storm of thoughts,
Take a pen and write it down
Just anything that can express the pain
Even if it can't heal you completely,
It may reduce the storm to a rain.
When you feel hurt or broken,
Don't keep it unspoken.
