"The weight of an empty bag."

Every morning and every night,
every time I look at that metal glass,
I see myself- slouched forward,
strained arms and tensed eyes.
Every walk gets harder, every step gets more tiring,
there is no drop of water,
that can quench the thirst of my throat,
quell the drought of in my bones.
Overwhelmed- yes I am,
over thinking- I always am,
