Have you tasted the bitterness of tears of despair?
Have you watched the sun sink through such pale, balmless air
that your soul sought its shell like a crab on a beach,
then scuttled inside to be safe, out of reach?

Blazing wild meadows,
Cherry blossoms, budding green,
Cascades of flowers!
Spring in the Blue Ridge Mountains
is a gilt orange season.
pretty in sunshine
puffy vagrant clouds drift by
grey peaks of mountains
blue jay seeks his tree
long before the fiery end
awaiting moonlight
lying in green grass
at noontime of blissful blue

It would be better if I met you in the clouds
In that place I can be longing you in the clouds penetrated by the brilliant orange sky
In the lack of oxygen, I can see that your face is blushing there; your beauty never fades even in black clouds
Everything in you is clear and there is no hypocrisy even though it changes from orange to blue sky

butterfly in blue
wafting skies we always knew
in orange-gold sun
redbirds sing farewell
a warm hour of green flowers
when still wind listens
to meadows and woods
minty lanes where beauty hides

green and blue are best
for ages put to the test
berry sky, jade leaves
knee deep sage grasses
waving like sapphire oceans
and wandering wind
matter-of-fact pretty
in saffron everyday hours
