Blazing wild meadows,
Cherry blossoms, budding green,
Cascades of flowers!
Spring in the Blue Ridge Mountains
is a gilt orange season.

Blue on Blue
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

blue jay way up high
a peacock on the river
forget-me-not dusk

sea holly shimmer
the blue dandelion days
sapphires in starlight

wet starfish creeping
starling in hydrangeas

Infinity
by Michael R. Burch

Have you tasted the bitterness of tears of despair?
Have you watched the sun sink through such pale, balmless air
that your soul sought its shell like a crab on a beach,
then scuttled inside to be safe, out of reach?

Cornflower

symbolizing love
hopefulness and devotion
it is a spring bloom

A Boy Who Loved Blue
by Evelyn Judy Buehler

He lived on a beautiful, rural farm, back in fond, good old days of yore,
With his parents and two brothers; like sun's going in and out the door.

He had always adored the color blue, so he had been nicknamed that.

A Sonnet 09:  Conversation In The Moon
by Ayatullah Nurjati

It would be better if I met you in the clouds
In that place I can be longing you in the clouds penetrated by the brilliant orange sky
In the lack of oxygen, I can see that your face is blushing there; your beauty never fades even in black clouds
Everything in you is clear and there is no hypocrisy even though it changes from orange to blue sky

Your personality is there
The further fly into space the more I love you
Your name is also imprinted in the earth's atmosphere
While my name is clearly written on your white dress, the clearer up there I love you

green and blue are best
for ages put to the test
berry sky, jade leaves

knee deep sage grasses
waving like sapphire oceans
and wandering wind

matter-of-fact pretty
in saffron everyday hours
