Listen to my fears
We are one and we are weird
drowning in the rain
Two and two are quite the same
We all wanna hide
Or shrivel up and die
It always seems the same
Like a broken window pane
Wash it down with beer
......
A life well lived

Wake up to a blare of alarms and a cold bed
Shave your face to a song you no longer like
Pull on clothes barely noticing their stains
And you're ready to lead a life well lived
Swallow your cereal and your pride
Then speak lies to satiate your unhappy wife
leave the house with shoulders hunched
To go work and lead a life well lived
