Historian, researcher and writer, Larissa Prestes Silva is the daughter of an Afro-Brazilian and an indigenous descendant who raised her in the interior of ParanĂ¡, a region mostly colonized by European immigrants. In her write it seeks to bring out cultural and social elements that are observed in the daily life of southern Brazil today, with romantic and symbolic tones.
