Don'T Cry

I'm not going to cry today,
Over the things I failed to do.
I'm going to sing a song,
And let the sun shine through. I'm not going to worry;
If my song is not a hit.
I'm going to sing all the high notes,
As I rock and sit. Life is too short, when you have lived long.
Don't worry about the tune,
Or where the words belong.
Just be happy, that you can hear, my song. Sing some songs--old or new.
If you can remember,
The first love song, sang to you,
Did it say that I'll forever be true? Don't yearn for those days gone by.
Remember those Dear Loved Ones,
Are with the Angels on high.
