Our precious little angel came to us, a daughter, born October 20, 1942,
God chose us as your parents, and for us to give our unending love to you,
Many hearts were won, by those big blue eyes, and winning smile,
We were so happy to have you stay with us for just that little while,
You grew up quickly, with much charm, beauty and grace,
Then you married a wonderful man, who then took our place,
Years later you were blessed with a daughter of your own,
To love and to cherish, and who now is full grown,
Dad and I, always wished for your happiness, and skies of blue,
Our memories are of the wealth of joy you brought to us, our first born,
