I Wish

I wish there was a place for me
Where all the flowers grow
And life was treasured as a valuable
A price far more than gold. Where children played and sang of joy
Of what love meant to each
A mountain higher and steep to climb
But not far out of reach. And in this place the days were as infinity
The nights crept by unnoticed
for happiness was an abundant reservoir
And peace was its caretaker and hostess. So much for my dreams or desires
It's hard for me to visualize or insist
For what I'm speaking of in terms of life
Is not much more than, a wish.
