The Just

I sat beneath the willow tree and listen to its windy song,
I watched the birds go flying by in the midday sun,
I sat and thought of creation and how God had made it all,
To me it seemed quite perfect, but yet it had a flaw.
For sin had come to conquer, its power stretched far and wide,
It had no value for life, hatred and hell was by its side,
It teaches only destruction, power, greed and lust,
It left its mark on everyone, nothing was left untouched.
But still this was for a reason, a lesson perhaps God wanted us to learn.
For the just shall overcome it all and the Creator shall return.
