The Last Strike

Would you steal from my heart all that I have,
With desperate words of hope
If there is fault, it is I
If there is reason, it is mine
If I cut and torcher, I suffer the
pain of demons too deep to be seen
But they rise with no warning to defeat me
I shall destroy them
Chains fordged by time are not easily
broken, but do become weaker with age
My strength is nearly gone
Let my last strike break all that
I have become
So her heart can love again.
