Aunt Kate

The house is clean and spotless, nothing is out of place
Your hair is neat and pretty, there's a smile upon your face
You're ready for a visit from fussy old Aunt Kate
The dinner's in the oven and --she's an hour late!
She calls to say she's sorry, her car just blew a tire
She'll try to come another time and she'll send you a wire! The house is a mess, the kids are sick, Dirty dishes everywhere
The drains are clogged and flooding. You haven't done your hair.
You heating up leftovers - the cat is attacking the bird-
The washing machine's running over. The screams of children are heard
The doorbell rings, you pick up things, but decide it's just to late
You open the door - AUNT KATE !!!!
MY DREAM When I was fifteen, I had a dream
I would be famous - in my dream
I would be beautiful - eyes blue - like the skies
My beauty would dazzle - hurt your eyes. I would have skin like peaches and cream
Perfect figure - perfect legs - in my dream.
My hair - golden, shiny, long
From my ruby lips came a haunting song. Hearts would break - strong young men turn to cream
In my dream - in my dream.
Now I am older - much more mature
I know what I want - of that I am sure
No dark, handsome young man on a prancing white horse
Now it's a silver-haired man - in a LAMBORGHINI, of course!
