Raindrops

Raindrops, Raindrops in the sky
Tell me why the clouds must cry
Tell me how the birds do sing
Tell me of the love God brings Raindrops, Raindrops tell me true
Of the fresh sweet morning dew
Tell me why love so true
After awhile it can make you blue Raindrops, Raindrops tell me why,
this mean world’s so full of crime
Why we beat, steal and kill each other
When God took the time to make us sisters and brothers Raindrops, Raindrops as you know, from this world our
souls must go
For sure one day that chariot will swing low
To take us home where the streets are paved with gold.
