Night sky

It has been said that we are just the universe experiencing itself.

If this is true, then to gaze at the night sky is to look back at our own past.

Strewn outward from the infinite cauldrons we call stars, this spectacle of light and vibration has spent eons in transit to get to us.

During this journey, all that we have ever known on earth has come and gone. Every pain ever felt. Every single human breath. Every word ever spoken. Every beginning and every end.

Like a child in the arms of our mother, we gaze upon from which we came.
