Derrick is a born and raised Missouri resident. Go Anywhere Magazine is his first literary publication. Derrick has been writing for five years, with a specific interest in confessional poetry. Derrick believes confessional poetry first and foremost is not a project of self hatred; it is at best a project of self revelation. Ozark Technical Community Colleges Go Anywhere Magazine is as he hopes to be the first stepping stone for publication of a collection of poems.
