Clouds

Fluffy, cumulus clouds roll by
Over, under, and through the sky.
Gliding slowly with lots of pride
I think to myself I'd like a ride.
Individually or in groups
They have funny shapes, lines, and loops.
Sun rays reflect and make them shine like a gem
So that only moonstones can compare with them.
Towering high and tall above us
The wind blows on them and creates a fuss.
Hovering above our tiny house
They make me feel like an insignificant mouse.
Dividing only into pairs
Covering the world like it is theirs.
Sitting there looking at a strange figure
Wondering in the days to come will it endure?
