Songs Of Old

The songs of old, of us they told,
Of brave and gallant fellows bold.
The tales we wrought of battles fought
Within these songs of old.

Our weapons came from sea and flame,
Of air and earth and spirit frame.
Of this we tell with magic spell,
Within these songs of old.

The armor new of starlight hue,
A shield against the false of true.
The evil fled, the wicked bled
Within these songs of old.

The songs of old, of us they told,
Of brave and gallant fellows bold.
But now we die, return to sky,
With no more songs of old.
