The Flight

The Flight

For Terrie Lynn

What I write, what I say, what I saw upon that day.
Ravens wings black and cold, dreadful tale that is told.
Life was over point to fly, Ravens wings and midnight sky.
Stars were fading light was spent, endless voids hell has sent.
In the mire of deepest anguish, echoed waves of human language.
Distant feelings deep inside, engraved with razors, hells divide.
Eagles talons grip the yoke, gliding ever through the smoke.
Crossing over past the dim, glancing downward in the sin.
She is beautiful and much more, cries true heart evermore.
Flames of Hades next to thee, Persephone cries for destiny.
