The Big Empty

There is a black hole, inside of my chest, Not unlike The one in space. Where once was a star, Before a quasar, Turned into human waste. It engulfs who we are, Through The cosmos so far, It's the Abyss where we keep our pain, And when it's full, Its presence is plain. Its gravity overwhelms light, What was, What matter, Beyond sight, What was collapsed, Forever be night. Or to transcend beyond, Prepared for new plight.
