Betrayal

How can I know that you are the one?
How can I trust you after all you have done?
I was blind to have trusted you before
Crazy with thoughts of having you more!

You seem to be a player and I, your playing,
An object am I? You play with me.
Everyday a game or two you played,
Finding me swayed in all silly ways.

I learned late but a lesson well taught, the basic foundation of trust,
shattered into pieces,
impossible to retract,
not objectifying,
but your betrayal hurt the worst.

I can hate you but that won't be enough,
Since you gifted me the first heartbreak in love.
Your gift I will forever treasure,
In return of the immense trust without measure.

I thank you for the lesson you taught,
Love is always followed by heartbreak.
I assure you that this is the trap in which ,
I'll never be caught!
