I had a terrible childhood growing up, but my mother did her best to make things good for me. She was my
best friend. On December 18, 2021 I celebrated my 18th birthday with my mom, not knowing it’d be the last.
December 23, 2021 my mother passed suddenly. I have been in a drought, a foggy mindless brain-fuck since that day. I’m not good at poetry, but the thought of it helps me feel better; more human. So, the nasty comments will not bother me. Might as well hold them back, I have thick skin.
