Stillness.
Dark, peaceful stillness.
The busyness of the day is gone—
No more chatter, no more throng.
My mind is resting, calm, at ease,
My heart is light, my soul finds peace.
Grateful for all I’ve done today,
And trusting what may come my way.
No concern for what’s ahead,
No fear, no rush, no steps to tread.
I am accepting—yes, I am—
Of every part, each shift and plan.
Though I know tomorrow’s not guaranteed,
Still, hope and faith are all I need.
But for now, I’ll rest tonight,
Wrapped in quiet, bathed in night.
I listen to my breath alone—
Deep and flowing, soft in tone,
Drifting gently, without seams,
Into the waiting world of dreams.
