A great mystery still to unveil
After daylight you prevail
Leaving many to marvel
As the great mystery unravel.

Darkness is thy glory
And silence adds to thy story
Ruling the Earth at night
When it's day, loses thy might.

Cats become active and meowing
Dogs become restless and barking
Mysterious creatures wailing
And that alone left me hailing.

Sleep takes the order of the day
And in our beds we lay
As the day gone by is history
And the night is still a mystery.

With the stars and moon up Hugh
That made many to sigh
Leaving us to wonder
What awaits us over the yonder.
