I live in a country of Asia content. I was born there as it was not my choice but of my destiny. Literacy rate of women is lowest in Asia. Percentage of women is fifty percent population wise. But lack of education and empowerment they have no basic rights. Our society is male dominated and a woman face problems at every step of life. She is in miserable condition due to gender discrimination. Can not fight due to social pressure but can write. I hope that one day all women of my country will work as men and will play their due role in country. With passage of time women are getting education but the process is very slow.I have started writing poems and putting all my emotion to it. Poetry is my best friend of life. English is not my first language, so I feel it as a barrier in expressing my self. Getting fame or money is not my achieving goal. When I write poems and somebody like then I get my prize.I write in rhyme couplets but trying to understand others forms of poetry well.
