I am an English as a Second Language teacher in Baltimore City public schools. Have spent time in Latin America and Europe studying and teaching over the years. In addition to writing, I enjoy birding, kayaking, traveling and reading. Since adolescence I have written poetry , but sort of put it on hold, often thinking I wasn't 'good enough' compared to other poets I'd read. Now that my two children are grown and independent, one of the creative projects I'd like to spend more time on is my poetry! I know they need work, so I am looking here for the opportunity for feedback. and practice. Thanks.
