These days,
We don’t listen to understand.
We listen to reply.
Half the time,
We’re not even hearing another.
We’re just waiting for our turn to talk.

Strange, isn’t it?
Allah gave us two ears, one mouth.
Maybe that was a hint.

If we listened twice as much as we spoke,
We’d learn faster,
Fight less,
And connect deeper.

We have to listen to speech
And follow the best of it.
Allah will guide us
To achieve true understanding.

Good listening is an art.
Not everyone has it.
But those who do—
Carry the quiet kind of power
The loud ones never will.
