I had a thought or two
And want to share it with you
Say there is just a slim chance of something you have to say
To someone cared about never being heard Happen? It may?
Even if not but a simple thank you
Or I love you or goodbye, too
It has happened to me, and someone probably comes to your mind
If that last known moment were forward and not behind
What would I let that person know?
But how could I know?
The future is indefinite
But the present's probabilities are infinite
As my Father has said to me in the past
Treat each moment as if it were your last
