Lady in Red

In a room of voices, light and sound,
the world went still when you appeared.
Red as roses in full bloom,
each step you took, a scene revered.

You did not dance-you simply moved,
as if you were the music's grace,
a melody I'd never known,
but one my heart could not erase.

Lady in red,a silent flame,
not one that screams, but softly glows.
Your eyes spoke more than language can,
and touched a place no hand yet knows

I wondered who has called you " mine",
who knows your nights,
who hears your song-
but maybe, in that fleeting pause,
we both belonged,if just for long.

For love is sometimes only this:
a glance,a hue,a whisper red,
that lingers more than thousand nights,
and lives, though it may rest instead.
